Our Coaches

All our coaches are multi sport trained to ensure that, wherever possible, all activities covered in a school are delivered by the same coach. This continuity is excellent for the school, the pupils and the coaches. All children learn differently and this familiarity ensures that the coaches can tailor the coaching sessions to ensure that children maximise their individual development.

Our links with primary school teachers has meant that all our coaches have been trained in behavioural management and have an in depth knowledge of all areas of the EYFS and National Curriculum KS1 & KS2 physical education requirements.

All our coaches are assessed and appraised by our in house training team twice yearly. From each appraisal, the coaches are issued with a personal development plan to work towards.

We conduct regular training sessions with all our coaches in both a class room and field environment to introduce new sports and coaching methods.

All our coaches are Enhanced CRB checked, First aid trained and Insured.

During Hockey, Golf, Rounders, Netball, Badminton, Athletics and Cricket sessions, our coaching team are qualified to administer and award the national governing bodies’ skills awards for each of these sports. We are also able to deliver the Young Leaders Award to children between the ages of 9 and 13.

Our team of specialist Gymnastics coaches are all qualified to deliver the British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards.
